Students Sharpen Barbering Skills and Gain Career Opportunities

During the week-long MMSD CTE Summer Discovery Program: Barbering, middle schoolers learned how to cut and style tapers and fades under an expert instructor who has real-life experience in the field.

Students learned that they can find a successful career in the trades through barbering and sometimes can lead to a six-figure salary. The skills they gained can open the door to professional opportunities right out of high school.
